Social Housing Refurbishment – High Rise Towers Externals
12 Month Contract (May lead to permanent employment)
£24 – £27ph
A national Social Housing Refurbishment contractor are actively looking to recruit a Project Manager for a minimum of 12 months on a freelance contract. This contractor are considered as one of the most experienced when it comes to external cladding and insulation on High Rise Towers blocks and are therefore being approached from multiple sources to complete works across Manchester.
With 60+ Towers across the Manchester area needing to be stripped and re-cladding in approved materials, this contractor have had a large increase in workload for the financial year and are therefore looking to expand their management team.
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, your role will include the following:
” The management, co-ordination and delivery of the contract.
” The management and co-ordination of Site Managers, Labour operatives, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales
” Monitoring team performance
” Production of weekly reports against forecast
” Provide a safe working environment by adhering to the correct health and safety procedures
” Daily paperwork to sign off and inspect completed work.
” Additional paperwork to log work daily that is being carried out on properties.
” Support Site Managers with tenant liaison in regards to the work being completed.
What you need to succeed?
To be a successful Project Manager within this role, you will have experience of previously working on High Rise tower blocks and completing all the external works. In addition you will have experience with Mast Climbers and be confident in managing a full contracts and all operatives including Site Managers.
To qualify for this position the successful Site Manager must possess the following:
” First Aid
” CSCS Card
” Trade background or relevant degree qualifications (Or equivalent)
” Mast Climber Experience (Beneficial)
” Social Housing Refurbishment – External High Rise.
