Social Housing Refurbishment – Roofing
Temporary – Permanent.

The Company

A Social Housing Refurbishment contractor, based in Merseyside, are actively looking for an experienced Site Manager on a temporary to permanent basis.

This contractor predominantly offer roofing packages across the North West to local housing associations and councils, however more recently they have build up a portfolio of private clients to complete roofing on new build housing sites.

Currently this contract have around 25 live schemes across the North West and have recently been awarded a new scheme in St Helens that will run for a minimum of 4 years- Therefore they are looking to recruit a Site Manager to run the scheme from start to finish.

The Role

You will be responsible for running a scheme across the St Helens area for a local housing association. This scheme will involve the roof replacements on a high volume of tenanted properties.

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, your role will include the following:
” Liaise with tenants directly in regards to the work being completed.
” The management, co-ordination and delivery of the project, operatives, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales
” Monitoring team performance for both direct and subcontractor employees
” Production of weekly reports against forecast
” Provide a safe working environment by adhering to the correct health and safety procedures
” Daily paperwork to sign off and inspect completed work.
” Additional paperwork to log work daily that is being carried out on properties.

What you need to succeed?

To be a successful Site Manager within this role, you will have a strong background within Social Housing Refurbishment – In particular you will have experience running roof replacement programmes.

You will have a TLO on hand to support with the tenants however you will also have involvement with this as well as your general Site Manager duties.

To qualify for this position the successful Site Manager must possess the following:
” First Aid
” CSCS Card
” Scaffold
” Asbestos Awareness (Desirable)
” Trade background or relevant degree qualifications (Or equivalent)
