A Lancashire based Social Housing Refurbishment contractor are currently looking to expand their management team. Due to successfully winning work with new local authorities for the financial year, this company need management staff on a permanent basis to push forward the sites. With work due to start imminently, this company are looking to recruit on a temporary to permanent basis.
Additional work has been secured to expand the current office and increases on the current live sites they have running. This contractor offer full maintenance packages to local councils and housing associations. Therefore work can vary from; Roofing schemes, kitchen and bathroom replacements, Windows and Doors replacements, Communal area refurbishments and any general works including painting, fencing etc.
Over the next week, there will be 3 pre-construction meetings going ahead for sites to start imminently in Wigan, Bury and Wrexham areas. Due to these being new contract wins, this refurbishment contractor are looking to recruit 3 new Site Managers for these sites.
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, your role will include the following:
” Liaise with tenants directly in regards to the work being completed.
” The management, co-ordination and delivery of the project, operatives, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales
” Monitoring team performance for both direct and subcontractor employees
” Production of weekly reports against forecast
” Provide a safe working environment by adhering to the correct health and safety procedures
” Daily paperwork to sign off and inspect completed work.
” Additional paperwork to log work daily that is being carried out on properties.
What you need to succeed?
To be a successful Site Manager within this role, you will have a varied background within Social Housing Refurbishment as you will be required to work on different schemes during your time with the company. In addition you will be computer literate and have strong organisation skills to be able to complete daily paperwork logs and record all information on computer systems.
To qualify for this position the successful Site Manager must possess the following:
” First Aid
” CSCS Card
” Trade background or relevant degree qualifications (Or equivalent)

You will be available to interview and start a contract week commencing 7th August 2017.
