Site Manager
New Build Housing – Affordable Housing
Temporary to Permanent
£20.00 – £21.00 per hour whilst temporary
£36,000 – £42,000 per annum + car allowance/ company car + bonuses

The Company

A national contactor, with offices based in the North West, are actively looking to recruit and experienced Site Manager due to growth in the business. This house builder are looking to achieve a turnover of £45m this year and will have 21 live sites at any one time through the financial year. With an average of 100 units across all their developments and with new sites starting imminently, this contractor are actively looking to recruit on a temporary – permanent basis and you will be given your own site to manage from start through to completion.

This House Builder develop properties for the affordable housing sector and will be looking to deliver specific house types to clients moving forward, enabling the company to achieve increasing targets over the next 5 years.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, your role will include the following:

” The management, co-ordination and delivery of the project, operatives, subcontractors, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales
” Monitoring team performance for both direct and subcontractor employees
” Production of weekly reports against forecast
” Provide a safe working environment by adhering to the correct health and safety procedures

To be a successful Site Manager within this role, you will have a strong background in completing new build housing projects whether that is affordable or open market and will have a bias towards affordable housing. In addition you will be immediately available to start a contract as soon as possible and happy to commit to a temporary to permanent contract. The first site you will be responsible for will be based in Gorton, a new build affordable housing development of 131 units.

To qualify for this position the successful Site Manager must possess the following:

” First Aid
” CSCS Card
” Trade background or relevant degree qualifications (Or equivalent)
” Asbestos Awareness/ Scaffold Inspection – advantage but not essential
” Experience on large developments of 100+ Units
” NHBC Awards – desirable.

As an experienced Site Manager you will be offered an hourly rate initially on a temporary basis followed be a competitive package upon a permanent offer:
” Salary between £35,000 – £42,000 per annum
” Car allowance/ Company Car
” 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays
” Additional company benefits – Pension/ Bonus
