Key Information

  • We are looking for the AC Installation Engineer
  • As an Installation Engineer you will be responsible for the installation of split, multi-split, VRV / VRF, DX systems at customer sites
  • We want you to maintain the relationship with our clients therefore, you need to be able to display good self-management, communication, and interpersonal skills, providing guidance and assistance to meet our customer needs
  • In this role you will attend various client sites, supporting several projects, carrying out the installation and commissioning of the Air-conditioning units as well as commercial refrigeration systems

The Role

  • You will be part of the Installation Team, who are accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget and in a professional manner
  • We expect you to adhere to all company and legal requirements at all times including complying with Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Health & Safety is extremely important for staff, ensuring compliance with all legislation
  • You will be responsible for installation of HVAC equipment and pipework on customer sites, within a set timeframe and according to a defined process
  • You will be required to support various projects and due to the nature of this role working away will be involved from time to time

Qualifications and experience


  • Proven experience in full installation of HVAC systems including pipework, bracketry and cabling
  • F-GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification
  • NVQ level 3 in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning
  • Experience with major manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi and Mitsubishi Electric, Airedale
  • Experience & knowledge with DX, Split VRF/VRV systems, AHUs & ventilation plant
  • Experience in commissioning HVAC equipment
  • Understands and analyses relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams
  • A full UK driving license
  • IT skills – being able to record the details in the LD-Control platform (iPad)
