Key Information

  • A provider of housing and community services, this company is one of Manchester’s largest housing associations
  • They currently own and manage 1200 homes all around the Manchester area, providing safe and great quality affordable homes
  • Due to the increase in work they are currently looking to recruit a building services administrator for a 3-month temporary role, potentially longer

The Role

  • Liaising with customers, management team and third parties in relation to commercial works including the raising scheduling and monitoring of work orders
  • Promptly and accurately entering and updating IT systems in relation to current Void works and post inspections
  • Promptly and accurately assisting in the processing of sub-contractor invoices for completed works
  • Assisting the management team in general administrative duties relating to disrepair, major works, void and responsive repairs
  • Assisting the management team in preparation of invoice application for commercial works

Skills and relevant experience

  • Previous experience within repairs administration and customer liaison
  • Knowledge of DRS and QL
  • Excellent IT Skills – must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to organise systems, processes and people efficiently
  • Effective team worker who can engage people in an effective manner
  • Highly self-organised with excellent customer care skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly numerate
  • Ability to liaise effectively with management team and customers both internal and external
