Position: Development Engineer

Location: Lancashire

Salary: £47,000 – £52,000 (depending on experience)

Job Type: Permanent

We are working with a well-established housebuilder seeking a Development Engineer to join their team in Lancashire. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting land acquisition, technical appraisals, and engineering strategies for new housing developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the land team with due diligence, technical reviews, and engineering information for land appraisals and acquisitions.
• Establish the engineering principles and strategy for all sites.
• Provide expertise in technical and engineering aspects of housebuilding design.
• Ensure compliance with Highway & Sewer Standards and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• HNC qualification in a relevant field (Civil Engineering, Construction, or similar).
• Experience in housebuilding engineering and design.
• Strong knowledge of Highway & Sewer Standards.
