Location: Wigan (Office-based with regular site visits)
Salary: £38,000 – £44,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Electrical Maintenance and Small Works Manager to join a well-established and award-winning maintenance and compliance contractor. You’ll be based in their Wigan office, overseeing the delivery of reactive maintenance and small planned works across retail and commercial sites.

This role requires strong leadership, a customer-first approach, and excellent technical understanding. It involves both office work (approximately 60%) and site visits (40%).

Responsibilities:

  • Daily scheduling and deployment of engineers and subcontractors

  • Supervision and quality control of work carried out

  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, including verifying RAMS

  • Handling customer queries and resolving issues

  • Visiting sites, assessing work, and preparing estimates and quotations

  • Ensuring jobs are completed on time, within scope and budget

  • Liaising with the Contract Support Team and ensuring all required documentation is complete

Requirements:

  • Trade or skilled background (Electrical preferred)

  • Supervisory experience in a similar setting

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Basic IT competency (e.g. job management systems, MS Office)

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
