The Role
  • Review tender documents on receipt and communicate same to Directors and relevant team members
  • Arrange and chair the Bid Launch Meeting and subsequent Progress Meetings
  • Identify tender deliverables / co-ordinate actions
  • Arrange Bid Settlement Meetings
  • Liaise with Buying Department to obtain material quotations when necessary
  • Analyse tender returns / negotiate with Sub-Contractors and suppliers as required
  • Prepare analytical tenders using all relevant procurement routes
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities as required
Qualifications and experience
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a Built Environment discipline
  • Estimating experience within New Build Housing
  • A member of the RICS (Desirable)
