Position: Health and Safety Advisor

Location: Salford
-
Pay: £45,000 + Car allowance
The Role
-
Advise the management team on all H&S matters alongside the Health and Safety Manager
-
Responsible for the periodic review, amendment and approval of generic risk assessment and method statement
-
Carry out regular audits across multiple working sites, being responsible for collating results and providing feedback
-
Investigate any incidents and claims within the business and produce any accident / investigation forms
-
Responsible for maintaining and updating our online Health and Safety information within the Atlas system
-
Produce monthly reports to be used in Senior Management meetings
-
Identify training needs and work with HR colleagues to source a suitable solution
-
Deliver internal training and/or tool box talks if required
Qualifications / Experience:
-
Experience within the construction, fit out and refurbishment sector within a similar role
-
Construction trade / engineering background is preferable
-
NEBOSH Certificate – Ideally in construction
-
TechIOSH
-
