  • A Lancashire based Social Housing contractor is currently looking to recruit an experienced Labour Manager to support their busy team, with strong administrative and resource skills
  • As an established contractor, this business has developed lasting relationships with councils/ local authorities and social housing providers across the North West and have work in place for years to come
  • Due to this, they now have an increase in workload and they are looking to take on a Labour Manager

The Role

  • This is a great career opportunity with a variety of duties including resourcing, admin and compliancy, for the right individual to join the company
  • Managing the flow of candidates
  • Speaking to and registering candidates and keeping track of availability for work
  • Managing the Right to Work process
  • Resourcing candidates via database searches, job boards and referrals
  • Receiving and reviewing applications and creating a shortlist of candidates
  • Advertising, Utilising candidate database, job boards and referrals
  • Referencing and checking workers have the correct certificates to be on site
  • Support with induction and new starter paperwork

Qualifications and relevant experience

  • Being able to work in a busy pressured environment and have proven experiences working to tight deadlines
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft
  • Customer Service Driven
  • Good telephone manner and happy to pick up the phone and make calls
  • Being able to pick up information is critical – understanding the roles you are working on and the type of candidate required
  • Personable and engaging
  • Happy to work within a small team
  • Driven and motivated to succeed in a competitive environment
