  • As a business, the contractor provides affordable housing new builds, with a great reputation for construction, this contractor can offer a permanent position for an experienced Project Manager

The role

  • This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the management of New Build and residential Developments
  • Within this senior role you will have responsibility to specify and deliver programme plans and manage the day-to-day operations of the projects you supervise
  • You will have full project management responsibility and will be expected to carefully manage programme expenditure in accordance with the programme budget and in line with funding procedures
  • Managing and negotiating planning applications and attending meetings as necessary
  • Submitting Building Regulations applications and monitoring progress, keeping the customer/builder notified of any conditions attached to a Building Regulations approval
  • Monitoring the build from start to completion, supporting the customer and builder as necessary
  • Ensuring the customer and builder are happy with the product, and carry out necessary site inspections
  • Managing the design and Planning, Specification and build plan
  • Monitoring Building Set and Construction, Costs, After Sales, Technical Back-up, and Support
  • Preparing estimates and pass to Estimating Department
  • Preparing tender documents

Qualifications and relevant experience

  • Management experience on a new build development or environment
  • Site Management Certification or Construction Education
  • Previous New Build Project Management experience
