- A dynamic property maintenance and refurbishment contractor are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work in Gateshead
- As an award-winning contractor, this business is a social and environmentally responsible family run business with a rich heritage, delivering a range of bespoke services and solutions to a wide variety of clients
- Duration: Permanent
- Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:00pm)
- Pay: £45,000 + company car or allowance
The Role
- Work closely with the operational teams in Sheffield and also cover contracts in York
- Submit invoices and ensure all payments are received on time
- Assist in the development of the procurement programme
- Prepare monthly valuation reports
- Contracts are planned and are refurbishments of tenanted social housing properties, voids, painting and fire protection work
- Liaise with contracts managers to establish requirements
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts
Skills and experience
- Hold the relevant qualifications
- Must be an experienced Quantity Surveyor within a social housing sector environment
- Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office
- Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
