Position: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Manchester

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 plus package (Negotiable)

Job Type: Permanent

We are working with a well-established construction and engineering contractor in Manchester, delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team and work on a range of projects across the North West, valued up to £25m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and valuations
• Manage subcontractor procurement and payments
• Conduct risk assessments and value engineering
• Monitor project costs and profitability
• Negotiate contracts and manage variations
• Prepare and submit final accounts
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Experience in construction and engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
