Key Information

  • A family run maintenance, planned works and M&E provider are looking for a highly motivated and skilled roofing manager to join their team
  • As a member of this award-winning team you will be responsible for a team that deliver planned and day to day maintenance roofing works throughout the country
  • Position: Roofing Manager (Maintenance and Small works)
  • Location: Office in Wigan and site travel
  • Package: £34,000 – £38,000 dependant on experience
  • Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Mon-Fri)

The role

  • Deliver a quality service and product to clients in line with the project goals by working with the project team
  • This company work in a fast-paced environment and looking for someone who can bring their experience and knowledge to the team

Responsibilities

  • Meet and attending client meetings
  • Provide an advisory service and to develop effective relationships with client representatives
  • Be responsible for the management of all labour resources, including managing subcontractors and ensuring completion of the project is on time and within budget
  • To help develop, monitor and manage programmes of work
  • Work closely with the contract support team to ensure required information is collated and added to the system
  • Deal with customer enquiries and concerns promptly
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing various roofing maintenance and planned works from quotation to completion
  • Manage all Health and Safety on site to include toolbox talks, undertaking regular site safety inspections and post inspections
  • Review RAMS to ensure that they are fit for purpose

Skills and experience:

  • Solid background in roofing work
  • Strong customer service background
  • Quoting / estimating experience is required
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment
  • Able to multi task, problem solve and work independently
  • IOSH – Desirable
  • Able to demonstrate experience of using a range of IT packages (Conversant with MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to manage own time and workload
