- A multi-award-winning developer with over 30 years’ experience are looking for a Site Manager in West Yorkshire
- Salary: £42,500 to £50,000 dependent on experience
- Hours: 40-hour working week
The Role
- Day to day operations of the project
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time and within budget and to the right standards
- Overall responsibility of site management with regards to Health and Safety, Production, Materials, Waste and workforce
- Prepare the site and carefully plan what work needs to be done, install temporary offices for site staff
- Monitor progress, oversee delivery of materials and carry out safety checks and sort out any issues
- Ensure that work complies with the building regulations and Health and Safety legislation and any other legal requirements
- Ensure that the deadline for completing the work is met
- Supervising, co-ordinating and overseeing the direction of the construction project. Working to an agreed programme, delivering the projects on time and to the standards of the business
- Assess and minimise risk to the site, the customer and the business
- Preparing and checking site reports, designs and drawings
- Writing reports and updating them regularly
Qualifications and Experience
- Good communication skills and ability to motivate others
- Self-motivated and manage own targets efficiently
- Problem solving skills
- Good IT skills
- Commercial awareness
- Good knowledge and building methods and regulations
- Being detail oriented and excellent planning/organisation
- Comfortable with responsibility and leadership
