Our client, a leading regional open market house builder, are looking to add an established Site Manager to their team In the North West.

The company is a well-respected house builder, who value build quality and customer satisfaction.

The role

As a practiced site manager, you will have experience dealing with a wide range of people. From construction professionals to customers, so outstanding communication skills are essential. The main duties of the role are as follows:

  • Planning and recording progress in accordance with the companies approved methods
  • Ensuring builds are produced to the consistently high standards
  • Managing and coordinating materials and labour as required throughout the build
  • Programming and managing sub-contractors
  • Initiating build inspections and managing to build regulations
  • Maintaining site records in accordance with site specific RAMS and H&S Law
  • Conducting site inductions
  • Maintaining all required paperwork to company standard
  • Attending and chairing meetings
  • Completing pre-completion inspections and working with the inspectors whilst on site
  • Assisting the customer care and sales team where necessary to complete maintenance

Required qualifications/ Attributes

  • SMSTS and First Aid
  • Management experience on new build residential project
  • Competent with H&S, build regulations and project planning
  • Experience managing a job as Site Manager from inception to completion
  • Strong people management skills
  • Pride in the job with customer satisfaction as a priority
