The Company

  • We are working directly with a leading specialist in the field of Building Restoration and Conservation operating from two locations, London and Manchester. They Specialise in façade restoration, cleaning, memorial restoration, light weight steel framing system, cladding and render. They are currently looking for a long-term site manager to work on the cladding of 3 high rise blocks on the outskirts of Nottingham
  • This position will be for a minimum of 10 months overseeing works on High Rise blocks, new build student accommodation completing brick slip cladding

The Role

  • Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager
  • The management, co-ordination and delivery of the project, operatives, subcontractors, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales
  • Monitoring team performance for both direct and subcontractor employees
  • Production of weekly reports against forecast
  • Provide a safe working environment by adhering to the correct health and safety procedures

Education and experience

  • To be a successful Site Manager within this role, you will have previously experience working on High Rise buildings within either the public or private sector – this may include: apartments, sheltered accommodation, hotels, local authority flats
  • You will have experience with all the external refurbishment works including cladding, repairs, stripping materials, external insulation and health and safety
  • CSCS
  • First Aid
  • Scaffold Inspection (Desirable)
