The Company

  • A market leader in the construction and housing sector in the North West is actively looking to recruit an experienced permanent Site Manager due to growth in the business
  • As a business, the contractor provides social housing refurbishment schemes, with a great reputation this contractor can offer a permanent position for an experienced Site Manager

The Role

  • Providing construction, regeneration and refurbishment projects to a variety of local authorities and social landlords across the North West
  • Working with your Contracts Manager and the assistant site manager, you will be No.1 Site Manager on a range of refurbishment schemes
  • Working on social housing schemes for both internal and external projects across the North West
  • The management, co-ordination and delivery of the project, operatives, subcontractors, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales
  • Monitoring team performance for both direct and subcontractor employees
  • Production of weekly reports against forecast
  • Provide a safe working environment by adhering to the correct health and safety procedures

Qualifications and relevant experience

  • A minimum of 15 years+ site management experience within social housing on all aspects of refurbishment, with evidence of quality workmanship
  • Ability to achieve targets and commit to meeting deadlines
  • A previous trades background would be advantageous, but not compulsory
  • First Aid
  • CSCS Card
