  • Our client is a Maintenance and Construction company who is values-led construction based in the northwest
  • They are currently looking to recruit a Permanent Site Manager for their Burnley Site
  • They provide a complete service to help their clients achieve their targets through employment, construction and regeneration
  • Understand their client’s needs and ready to meet the challenges of ongoing efficiency, local employment and economic development
  • This is an opportunity to secure permanent position due to the volume of contracts being awarded from various private and social housing schemes

The Role

  • The management, co-ordination and delivery of the project, operatives, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales
  • Monitoring team performance for both direct and subcontractor employees
  • Production of weekly reports against forecast
  • Provide a safe working environment by adhering to the correct health and safety procedures
  • Daily paperwork to sign off and inspect completed work
  • Additional paperwork to log work daily that is being carried out on properties
  • Responsible for delivering various work streams across the business – these include: externals programmes, DPCs, roofing, boilers, ADHOC, kitchens, bathrooms, fire safety works and empty homes refurbishments
  • The team provide a cost effective, efficient service to the client, ensuring all works are completed on time to a high standard

Qualifications and experience

  • A varied background within Social Housing Refurbishment and be experienced in completing schemes from start to finish
  • General knowledge of Health & Safety in the work place and safe working practices
  • City & Guilds, or equivalent in relation to the construction industry
  • Experience of working in the building trade industry
  • Full UK driving license
  • Scaffold Inspection
