Key Information

  • A local Social Housing Refurbishment contractor is currently looking to recruit a freelance Tenant Liaison Officer for a scheme he has been awarded in Wrexham
  • This scheme is working on external housing to include paving and fencing works and liaising with the tenants to ensure the scheme runs to plan
  • As a business, this company is established within the Social Housing sector and works with several housing associations and councils through the area to complete planned maintenance schemes including painting and decorating, kitchen replacements and external fencing schemes within tenanted properties
  • Due to continuously achieving targets set, this company has now been awarded this additional contract for the financial year and therefore is looking to bring in an external TLO to complete the scheme

The Role  

  • This is a long-term contract to start immediately with further work planned over the next 3 years
  • Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will work closely together on this scheme to ensure high standards and deadlines are achieved
  • Liaising with tenants directly in regards to the work being completed
  • Maintaining and developing all tenant related activities with control and co-ordination whilst establishing close working relationships with all customers, clients and external stakeholders
  • Assisting in delivering excellent customer service
  • Liaising with tenants to schedule appointments for works to be completed to the contractor’s timelines
  • Dealing with any tenant queries and liaising with the client and your colleagues to resolve
  • Willing to work together as a team and help with the day to day duties of the site

Qualifications and relevant experience

  • Social housing experience, completing planned maintenance programmes
  • Available within either immediately or within the next few weeks, and be able to attend and interview
  • Computer literate and have strong organisation skills to be able to complete daily paperwork logs and record all information on computer systems
