Health and Safety Advisor (Kirkby)

Position: Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Kirkby, Merseyside (site travel required)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum + package
Contract: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a busy and growing contractor in Kirkby, Merseyside. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple sites while supporting the business in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular audits and site inspections to ensure full compliance with health and safety standards.
Prepare detailed audit reports, communicate findings, and monitor close-out actions.
Investigate accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents; identify root causes, trends, and preventative measures.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a health and safety role.
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (desirable) – NEBOSH General Certificate accepted.
Valid CSCS card (essential).
