With the change in ownership in 2020 came a new focus around corporate social responsibility, with both Laura and Ian keen to make this a company priority as soon as possible.
Our CSR focuses around our team and our communities; Warrington, Wigan and the North West. We are very fortunate to be in the position to be able to provide support to both local and national charities each voted for by our team members on an annual basis.
We aim to provide local labour where possible and partner with training providers in the community – local jobs for local people.
Below are a few of our charitable initiatives over the last year. In addition to these we have also made donations to St Roccos, MacMillan cancer support and Cancer research.
Warrington food bank
Ionic are proud supporters of Warrington food bank, we donate every 6 month so far have donated over £500 worth of food to those struggling in our local community.
Warrington Borough Council Toy Appeal
Ionic has been donating to the Warrington Council Toy Appeal since 2014. Each team member always goes above and beyond with their toy donations for such a good cause.

Close to Ian’s heart, Ionic was proud to be able to sponsor Winstanley Park Cricket Club Under 9’s team for the 2021 season and then the U11’s for the 2022 Season. We will continue our support in 2023 by sponsoring the shirts for the newly formed Women’s Softball Super 8 team.
100 Miles in October for Mind
Each team member completed the ‘100 miles in October for Mind’ and we raised an impressive £573.00 for Mind as well as this being a great incentive to get us all moving!
