We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join a busy team in Preston. This role involves providing professional advice and support across residential schemes, ensuring contractors and suppliers deliver work to high standards and within regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and recommendations to support the management of contractors and suppliers

• Resolve contract disputes and oversee cost and value management

• Manage planning applications, boundary issues, and regulatory compliance

• Review and assess completed works, ensuring quality standards are met

• Support the wider property team with professional surveying input

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of health and safety in construction and social housing

• Fully conversant with repairs and maintenance requirements in social housing

• Solid appreciation of professional and project-based building surveying matters

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
