Position: Temporary Buyer (3–6 Months)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (Pro Rata)
Contract: Temporary (3 to 6 Months)

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Buyer to support a leading housebuilder in Sheffield on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident procurement professional to make an immediate impact on active projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of materials and services for residential developments

• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost savings

• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials

• Monitor budgets and support commercial teams with cost control

• Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Previous experience in procurement within the construction or housebuilding sector

• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

• Able to manage workload autonomously and meet tight deadlines

• Available to start at short notice
