The Company

  • An award-winning building contractor with 40 years’ experience in the social housing sector based in the North West of England, are currently looking for an experienced Contracts Manager due to recent growth. Covering a range of refurbishment schemes throughout the North West areas. They specialise within decarbonisation/retrofit of properties, and they have an exciting growth plan in place which has seen their turnover increase steadily.

The Role

  • Reporting to the Director you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects under their control.
  • The Contract Manager role would be required to managing multiple site teams across the region. Delivering social housing maintenance and refurbishment projects.
  • To be considered you will have held an contracts manager position with a similar contractor. Having proven successful project delivery within social housing and maintenance
  • The position is a client facing role, so the contracts manager will have experience dealing with clients.
  • You will be ensuring all the highest standards or Health and Safety and compliance are met. Promote good communication with the team.

What you need to succeed?

  • Experience of working within Social Housing refurbishment is essential, with experience in decarbonisation/retrofit of Social Housing properties ideally
  • Minimum of 3-5 years within the industry / role
