Position: Estimator / Senior Estimator
Location: Ashton-in-Makerfield
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum + company car

Summary:

We are working with a well-established, family-owned construction, refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance contractor that delivers projects for a range of reputable clients across the UK. Due to securing new contracts, they are looking to add an Estimator / Senior Estimator to their team. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company and play a key role in their continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for refurbishment and fit-out projects.

• Compile and submit competitive tender bids.

• Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and bid proposals.

• Maintain and update pricing schedules and cost data.

• Deliver bid presentations.

• Assess project requirements and site conditions to inform pricing.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in estimating within the construction or fit-out sector (desirable).

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
