Planning Manager – PLC Housebuilder (North West)

The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the planning strategy across a portfolio of residential developments. You’ll drive sites through the planning system, manage consultants, and maximise land value in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning strategy for new and existing sites
• Manage planning applications, appeals, and negotiations with local authorities
• Coordinate external consultants and internal stakeholders
• Monitor local plans and identify opportunities/risks
• Support land acquisition with planning appraisals and due diligence

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential planning (housebuilder or consultancy)
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
• Track record of securing planning consents
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• MRTPI qualified (or working towards) preferred
