- Position:Quantity Surveyor
- Location:Warrington office based
- Pay: £45,000 – £55,000 experience dependant + car allowance
The role
- A principle contractor who specialise in shop fitting are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Warrington
- This company work in a fast-paced environment and are looking for someone who is able to work in an exciting but fast environment
Responsibilities
- Preparing and analysing costs for tenders
- Advise on procurement strategy
- Valuing completed work and arranging payments
- Maintaining awareness of different building contracts
- Attend site surveys
- Performing risk and value management and cost control
Skills and experience
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Able to ensure that all costs are effectively managed and income is maximised on all projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Have sound knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
- Support the rest of the commercial team where necessary
Qualifications
- Hold a qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Experience within main contracting (ideally with clients in the food retail industry)
