Key Information

• A principle contractor who specialise in shop fitting are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Warrington
• This company work in a fast-paced environment and are looking for someone who is able to work in an exciting but fast environment
• Pay: £40,000 – £55,000 (Experience dependant) + car allowance

The Role

• Preparing and analysing costs for tenders
• Advise on procurement strategy
• Valuing completed work and arranging payments
• Maintaining awareness of different building contracts
• Attend site surveys
• Performing risk and value management and cost control

Skills and experience

• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
• Must have experience in pricing jobs
• Able to ensure that all costs are effectively managed and income is maximised on all projects
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Have sound knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
• Support the rest of the commercial team where necessary

Qualifications

• Hold a qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Experience within main contracting (ideally with clients in the food retail industry)
