Key Information

• A family run construction, electrical and maintenance provider are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Roofing Manager to join their team
• As a member of this award-winning team you will be responsible for a team delivering planned and day to day maintenance roofing works throughout the UK
• Location: Office in Wigan and site travel (60/40 split)
• Package: £40,000 – £44,000 dependant on experience
• Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Mon-Fri)

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsibility for managing and overseeing various Roofing Maintenance and Planned works
• Maintain compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and actively promote a safe workplace
• Work closely with the contract team to ensure all information is added to systems
• Responsible for the management of all labour resources, including managing subcontractors and trades
• Effectively manage daily deployment and scheduling of engineers and subcontractors to manage the days effectively
• Ensure that jobs are delivered on time and within budget along with ensuring site safety and quality is maintained
• Produce risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
• To develop and manage programmes to make sure that projects are delivered to timescales
• Split between office based and site visits

Qualifications/experience

• Roofing trade qualifications / background
• Solid roofing background
• IOSH is desirable
• Able to demonstrate full use of IT Packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Estimating experience is required
• Strong customer service experience
• Reliable and punctual
